Lookin' sharp!!!

Keith shows off his studly Army dress greens before heading off to S. Carolina. He just spent two weeks up at Fort Lewis, WA, where he was promoted to Sergeant. Now he's going to Fort Jackson, SC, where he'll train for two months to be a Drill Sergeant. We'll miss him a whole lot!

Grandma Phyllis arrives

Grammie Phyllis is here for a month to help with Mackenzie while Keith goes to Drill Sergeant School in Fort Jackson, South Carolina for two months. Kenzie couldn't be happier to have her here as her playmate.

Always ready for a close-up...

Have suitcase, will travel

Grandma Joni went to Phoenix and brought back an entire suitcase full of clothes for Kenzie.

Although she was happy about all the cute new things to wear, Kenzie was pretty upset about Grandma taking off for a week without her. After tossing all the clothes out of the suitcase, she climbed inside, "belted" herself in, and seemed to say "Next time, I get to go, too!"

Caught, wet-handed

Usually the entrance to the kitchen is blocked by a baby gate but, in those rare instances when the gate is open and Mom and Dad aren't watching the kiddo like a hawk, she makes a beeline for the puppies' water bowls and gives herself a manicure.
