Happy Birthday, Keith Daddy!
On Mother's Day, Grandma Joni, the girls, and I flew down to Phoenix, AZ, for a week and a half of relaxation in the sun at Aunt Valeri's ("Wowee's") house. We finally got to meet cousin Gavin, my cousin Caulyne's adorable little boy. In these photos, he was 6 months old and Giselle was 11 months, but he already outweighed her by a few pounds...hence, her nickname, "shrimpy G."
Ok, so it's been about a year and a half since I last posted to our site, so we'll see how this goes! I haven't sent out photos for quite a while, and a lot has happened recently...so we're playing "catch-up" with this first post. The pics aren't really in any particular order, and I'll post photos of our trip to Phoenix soon when I get them from mom's camera. Enjoy! (Note: You can't click on these new photos to see them full-size in another window. I'm looking into this little issue.)
And finally a few random shots. Whoever said girls aren't messy never had any of their own. Check out Kenzie's attempt at lipstick! In the last shot of Giselle, she had a fever and was trying to cool off. We thought she was teething but, when she broke out in spots a few days later, we found out she had roseola. It's been a tough month for illness in our house. Kenzie and I landed in the hospital two days after our trip to Arizona....she had rotavirus and C. diff., and I had norovirus. Ten days in the hospital between us, hanging out in the same room. NOT fun. But if you ever wind up there, try to stay in the Pediatrics unit. You get your own nurse, all the video games you could ever think of, and every Disney movie ever made. After Kenzie was discharged and I was left alone in Peds, Keith tried to get me to convince people I was 3 years old and had a growth disorder. :-)
