Acting "natural"

I was trying to get a few close-up candid pics of the girls and told them to just ignore the camera. Easier said than done.

Best friends

When I ask Mackenzie who her best friend is, the answer is always "Zelle." Sooo cute. Giselle copies absolutely everything her big sis does, including all of her crazy climbing monkey maneuvers, the high-pitched ear-splitting Mariah Carey screams, and the belly laughs that always lead to hiccups. I hope their friendship continues and strengthens...

Mama, put the camera DOWN

I realized it had been a loooong time since I'd taken any photos of the girls, so I set out to get some shots of them hanging around the house yesterday. After a few minutes, Kenzie asked that I pleeeeease put the camera down and maybe take more pictures later, because I was interrupting her painting project. Sorry, cutie. I tried to get a shot of Giselle's signature "angry bear" look but only succeeded in making her truly angry.

Gettin' along...sort of

The girls have been getting along pretty well recently, with just an occasional shove, hair tug, or *gasp* bite. These pics were back from when we still had Giselle's playpen up in the living room, prior to listing our place for sale and depersonalizing the entire house . Even from the confines of her baby "cage," she could still lure Kennie in and grab a handful of that beautiful blonde hair.
