A Very Disney Birthday

Mackenzie was in a rotten mood when we first got to Disneyland. All she wanted to do was go home to the hotel. She eventually warmed up to the whole thing, especially with the help of some sugar. :) Those first few hours were rough, though.

Giselle made some new friends on the Mark Twain boat ride. Apparently her parents just aren't cool (or young) enough anymore. Or it might've been the fact that her *friends* kept giving her bubble gum.

Here's Tigger, doing a little pole-dancing.
We finally caved in and got the girls some sugar in the form of ice cream, cotton candy, and candy. When on vacation....

Riding on the boat over to Tom Sawyer's Island, getting ready to explore caves and pirate treasure.

Keith and Kenzie up in Tarzan's treehouse.

Keith is pretending to get his arm stuck in a hole in Tarzan's tree. He had the girls convinced for a little while.

A Disneyland Birthday--Part Two

We spent two 15-hour-long days in Disneyland (and never even made it over to California Adventure). Here is the second half of the photos (not necessarily all from the second day), starting off with an early morning bath for our already-tired munchkins.

This is Giselle's first attempt at driving. It was a little rough, according to Keith, since she couldn't steer very well. Poor thing couldn't hardly see over the wheel, though!!

After going on every single ride except the submarine (we just ran out of time), Mackenzie said her favorite part of Disneyland was Splash Mountain, which she got to go on twice. It's too bad Giselle was too short for the larger rides like Space Mountain, the Matterhorn, and Splash Mountain because she's quite the little thrill-seeker and I think she would have had a blast! Next time!
