Day in Monterey

This past Sunday, we took the girls down to Monterey to see all the fishes and (my favorite) sea otters at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Our camera has been very fussy lately, not liking any of our SD cards, so we were lucky to get some good shots of the girls (although slightly fuzzy since we weren't allowed to use a flash, and the light is pretty low inside the aquarium). The girls had a great time touching starfish, bat rays, flounder, and seaweed, but Giselle was terrified of the aviary...must get that from me, as I am NOT a big fan of birds. Not up close, at least. The pictures of what look like plants are actually leafy sea dragons....very amazing little creatures!
